Just got a 4100 Hrdro and love it! Loader works great, the Gearmore flailmower is a dream. Went through an acre of 4 foot weeds in an hour--leaving them in evenly spread fine mulch.Here's a newbie's problem. I can't figure out how to disconnect the flailmower's PTO shaft from the rear PTO. (It was delivered connected. Disconnecting the 3 pt hitch is no problem.) I've read all manuals completely and there'snothing on disconnecting (or connecting) PTO shafts. Thanks in advance for your help.

The ring on the end of the shaft either takes a partial twist or a pull back, depending on the particular unit. ....

i assume you want to detach the pto shaft from the tractor, you will find a button on the coupling where the collar goes around the tractor output shaft, push the button all the way in and pull the pto coupling off the tractor shaft.good luck with you r new toyamc ....

Thanks for your help Norm. I followed your directions and had it figuredout in minutes. Now a box scaper is on and a drill will be tried out later this week. Thanks again for your help.And thank you Al for your comments too. ....
